EHC PLANS AT 16+ AND 18+ AND THE RIGHTS OF THE YOUNG PERSON

Registration is from 9.30am. Workshop starts at 10am.

 


Workshop details:

This workshop is for parents/carers aged 16+ and 18+ with/without an EHCP.

It will cover:
the rights of over 16s to make decisions about their education
the process of asking for an EHC assessment
choosing the right placement
whether local authorities can put time limits on post 16 placements and courses
the right to provision 5 days a week
information on appealing
post 16 annual reviews
social care provision and preparation for independence 
transport
and
ceasing to maintain an EHCP.

We are located opposite Hampton Court train station. 

Parking is available in side streets or at the train station. 

Easy access from A3 or M3.
